Diamond Jewelers are passionate about dressing celebrities for a worthy cause.
During the 2007 Award season - Golden Globes, 49th Grammy Awards, and the Academy Awards - the Diamond Information Center (DIC) is encouraging Hollywood's top leading actresses to proudly wear a Diamond Right Hand Ring to one of the events. In return, DIC will make a donation of $10,000 on their behalf towards a special project or a charity of their choice benefiting Africa. It hopes that this will help generate over $100,000 in donations and help build a better future for women and children in Africa.
During the red carpet event for the 2007 Golden Globes, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Patricia Arquette showed their support towards Raise Your Right Hand Ring for Africa campaign.
"Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Patricia Arquette are all shining examples of classy, stylish, smart and sophisticated women," said Diamond Information Center Director Sally Morrison. "They represent not only the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, but they are superior role models, especially because of their humanity and compassion for those in need, caring for the world we live in and helping to raise money for valuable projects in Africa through the 'Raise Your Right Hand Ring for Africa' program."
