Happy New Year to everyone!
Though I hate to see it end, it is time to pack up the tree, work on the new year's resolutions, and shed the extra pounds gained during the christmas holidays.
Like every beginning of the year, it has always been my youngest sister's mission to inform me on what the astrological year will hold for me. It's like clockwork, she calls me at midnight new years eve and tells me that I should check for a very important email from her. Then she calls my other sister and tells her the same thing. I don't think she has ever missed a year since we were teenagers.
So, if you have checked your chinese astrology chart, you will know that this is the year of the Fire Pig. It promises to bring good fortune, especially to Water and Fire piggies born during the years of 1923, 1947, 1983, and 2007. As a Metal pig born in 1971, I just have passed through three years of good luck and 2007 promises not to be an oustanding year for me. In fact, based on
Chinese Fortune Calendar, 2007 will have a lot of bumps along the way.

My horoscope also tells me that I will absolutely need to travel between November to December 2007 when my restlessness would heap up to a new height. It looks like money, power and fame will also elude me this year (oh what a downer). However, as my sister has nicely put, it is a good year for me to get married, conceive a child, change jobs or move to a different country. I now am considering blogging from the beaches of Nassau.....
