Evite will send them another reminder not to miss your party! Now that the invitations are sent, what else do you need to do to prepare for a memorable cocktail party? Take their Drink Calculator for a spin to figure out how much alcohol to stock. Just enter the number of party hours and guests confirmed and it will do the calculations for you. So, if you are planning a 5-hour party and serving wine to 10 moderate drinkers, you will need 12 750ml bottles of wine. My favourite tool from Evite is the Party Budget Estimator. I never plan a get together without this one. It not only keeps me on track for my estimated expenses, it gives me a guideline of what my spending will be. I ordered his name for the front door in Dino letters.
The other one is in the Animal collection - spelling out Mama's Boy. It's too much letters to post up on this post.

Mood Enhancer: 10 Surefire Ways to Get Yourself in a Better Mood
When you're exhausted, out of sorts or just plain blue, don't give up.
A HOT CUPPA:
It's like those advertisements-furrowed forehead, a face as a urinal queue, and then a sip of a hot cuppa. And hey presto! Worry lines melt, knitted brows unravel, a wide grin emerges, and the body reconfigures itself-smart, smarter, smartest-in the twinkling of an eye. The magical properties of tea owe themselves to caffeine - a stimulant and a host of antioxidants - they alleviate hypertension and are good for the heart. Coffee too can cheer you up but only when it is consumed in moderation.
SWITCH OFF:
If you are thinking prayer rug and flying fakirs, stop. We are merely asking you to switch off. All those times when the whole world seems out to get a piece of you are trying to please everyone but to no avail, just distance yourself. Meditation involves taming or a word or a chant or even an idea. Humans have different kinds of brainwaves - beta, alpha, theta and delta. Of these, alpha waves indicate the most calm state of being. And meditation generates alpha waves. But one should take meditation lessons before practicing on one's own.
GREEN COMFORT:
The first thing in the morning and the last thing at night - the silent exchange between planter and plant is nice frayed nerves. A tits simplest, gardening involves tending to a couple of potted plants. The activity takes one's mind off humdrum worries. At its more evolved best, gardening involves a lot of output is directly proportional to aesthetic and other returns. Dumb pets did you say? Well, they talk back with their leaves, soothe with their green and smile with their flowers.
PUT YOUR FEET UP:
What is about putting one's feet up that is so relaxing? This simple act (of putting up your feet) revises the circulatory capacity of the blood, the venous blood flow to the heart is multiplied, the oxygen capacity increases and the end-result is a coffee-like phenomena-rejuvenating. And the physiological implications as well. The action works not so much as a full stop as a comma - a welcome pause wherein you engage in an activity of your choice, be it watching TV or reading book or simply doing nothing.
MAKE A MEAL:
Chopping, grinding, boiling... Come to think of it, cooking is a string of some of the most violent activities. Then why is it the that is? Cooking is like love, you should enter into it with complete abandon or not all. When cooking is a quantity every day, it can hardly work as a feel-good factor. But if you wield the ladle occasionally you will realise it is the simplest and most satisfying creative exercise possible.
FEATHERED DELIGHTS:
You might say why not the pet dog or cat. And you would be right in asking. Only there is something so gratifying about feeding pariah birds that you have to do it to know what it feels like. One reason could be that they make a pretty sight, first flocking, then pecking away daintily (they don't gobble like cats or dogs). It could also have something to do with the no-strings attached nature of it.
LEG WORK:
There is nothing quite like a pedicure from a professional. At home, you can scrub and scratch and slather on all lotion in the universe, but you can not even begin to approximate the effect. Feet are the most used part of the body. A pedicure works on the rough edges, cleanses dirt and works like an ablution for the mind too.
DOZE OFF:
An obscenely heavy family lunch followed by some heavy-duty napping. It is difficult to say which of the two is more delicious. Qualitatively different from the kind of sleep you sink into at end of a day. It recalls interminable summer vacations. But why is that a short nap works better than a long one?
They reproduce, excrete and die and they need time to restore themselves. Napping facilitates this. But during the day it is the job of the body to eliminate toxins. If you sleep too long, you impede the digestive process.
A GOOD CRY:
Recommending a cry to cure sagging spirits might sound a bit like prescribing a heart attack to someone down with flu. It is really a period of opportunity, a time to optimise on the stress. As he sees it, distress, despondency and despair are inevitable when it comes to keeping oneself emotionally and physically in sync with one's immediate environment. One should always allow for a precipitation of these accumulated woes and then a nice lusty cry is just what you need!
HOT SEX:
At its most evolved, it works like a meaningful conversation between bodies. At its simplest it is ice-cream for the mind. The list is endless. Good sex works as an analgesic. You could be down with anything serious but you can rest assured that good sex will alleviate it. As they say, pleasure lies between the two ears and not between the two legs.

How Do You Tell A Friend That Her Husband Is Cheating?
We have been good friends since high school. When we both turned 30, we found ourselves both still single, and the race was on to be the first one to get married.
She started testing the waters on on-line dating, and got herself a profile on lavalife. Every single night she had a date. I couldn't believe that there were so many single men in Vancouver. I couldn't keep track who was who anymore. There were just so many coffee dates, and dinner dates. She finally met the man of her dreams, and in six months got engaged. They had a wonderful lavish reception before that year was over. Her son just turned one year this year.
We still do lunch once a week and we don't really talk much about her relationship. I mean, I just assume everything is as happy-ever-after as she had expected. I get bits and pieces. Like he's been gone a lot travelling for work and she wishes that he wouldn't. After all, they now have a baby to take care of.
A couple of weeks ago, another girlfriend called me to ask if they were having problems because she saw his old profile on lavalife active. We did what most women would do, we pooled our resources and snooped around. She sent him an email to go on a date. Sad to say, he did not disappoint us.
My girlfriend and I have given him a week to tell her, or else we would. The week is almost up and we are dreading the prospect that we might have to tell her. So, how do you do that? Tell a friend that her husband is cheating on her?

Love and Romance - Frogs Need Not Apply
One of my most memorable childhood memories would be of my mother's Harlequin Romance Novel Collections. She had hundreds of them. My dad even built her a wooden wall shelf right beside the staircase in our childhood home so she coud arrange them alphabetically. That is how I got hooked on reading romance novels.
Harlequin has got it right when it comes to romance - chivalrous men, sexy millionaire bosses and the ever elusive shieks. Romance that makes your knees shake and buckle dreaming of everlasting love. There is never a bad ending to a romance novel- the mousy secretary turns into a beautiful swan, the stalker gets caught by the hero, or an old love brought back. It makes me daydream all the time of all the possible scenarios where I could be the heroine, just turning around the corner destined to meet the love of her life. So overly dramatic, I know.
Why can't love in the real world be as exciting? Maybe it's the predictability aspect of the novels, knowing how it will end - the girl gets the guy, that makes it more appealing. If only we could wish a scripted page be played in real life so that we know where the next page leads. Instead of the unpredictability of human emotions - Does he love me? Is there someone else? Is it meant to be? Real life love makes you more crazy from all the unanswered questons. More times than it gives you that fuzzy warm feeling.
One of these days, I will venture to write my own romance novel about kissing a lot of frogs in order to find a prince.

Why Do I Have Sugar Cravings?
Consuming sugar temporarily elevates the levels of certain neurotransmitters in our bodies. Do you know what neurotransmitters are? They are "feel-good" chemicals. Two of the major "feel-good" chemicals released by eating sugar are: 1. Dopamine, which releases chemicals including endorphins that give us a feeling of pleasure 2. Serotonin, which produces a feeling of well being. We also tend to eat sugary treats for a quick rush of energy to get us through the day. Of course we also enjoy the sweet taste of sugar. Eating sweet treats like a candy bar or a cookie unconsciously brings back simpler more enjoyable days of our childhood.
Grabbing a sugary treat is a common stress response for many adults. It's a behavior we have been practicing since we were children. When we had a rough day at school, mom would fix it with a plate of homemade cookies and a glass of milk. Now when we are stressed, we run to the vending machine or grab a cheesecake on the way home.
Is Sugar Really Dangerous Or Addictive?
Yes and No. Our body needs limited amounts of sugar as a quick source of energy, but not in the amounts our society as a whole has been consuming sugar. It is also a good idea to stay away from white table sugar as much as possible. This refined sugar has almost no nutritional value other than the "empty" calories it provides. Some people refer to white sugar as "white death".
Eating fresh fruits is a much better way to give in to our sweet tooth, get the sugars our bodies need while also absorbing an array of other nutrients, vitamins, minerals and micronutrients.
The high consumption of sugar in the western world is leading to an increase in health conditions from diabetes to obesity.
Is sugar addictive? Yes - not only do we get addicted to the neurotransmitters that are released by the consumption of sugar, which is a reaction very similar to the "high" of a drug addict, consuming sugar also causes our blood sugar levels to rise quickly and then plummet back down just as fast, resulting in a craving for more sugar. This is a desperate (and futile) attempt of our body to keep the blood sugar in balance.
What Can I Do To Curb My Sugar Cravings?
The best way to curb sugar cravings is to aim for a stable blood sugar. You can do this by avoiding sugary treats and drinks like candy, soda and even fruit drinks. Instead try sweetening your foods and drinks with stevia. Please avoid any artificial sweeteners.
Craving sweets is also often an indication of a lack of certain nutrients such as chromium, carbon, phosphorus, sulphur and tryptophan. Let's take a look at what foods you should be eating to make sure you get enough of these nutrients.
Chromium - eat broccoli, grapes, cheese, dried beans and chicken
Carbon - eat fresh fruit
Phosphorus - eat chicken, beef, liver, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, nuts, legumes and grains
Sulphur - eat cranberries, horseradish, cruciferous vegetables, kale and cabbage
Tryptophan - eat cheese, liver, lamb, raisins, sweet potato and spinach.
If you find yourself drawn to sweets as a response to stress, your first step of action should be to try to eliminate the stress. If you have an argument with your spouse, talk things out. If you are stressed in your job, schedule a meeting with your boss to see if you can get more time, more resources or an assistant.
Sometimes eliminating the cause of stress isn't an option. In that case, try to exercise. Go for a brisk walk, join your local gym or work out with your favorite exercise video at home. Not only will the exercise help you blow off some stream, it also releases some of the same neurotransmitters that the consumption of sugar does - without the empty calories.

The Beauty of Botox - Which Wrinkles to Remove?
Which wrinkles and lines bother you the most? Are these lines and wrinkles the type that are best eliminated using Botox?
If you choose to eliminate only the wrinkles that can be treated with Botox, will any of the remaining ones still leave you unsatisfied with your appearance? For example, if you want both your frown lines and marionette lines removed, you will likely need a different cosmetic procedure to have the marionette lines eliminated.
From the top of your face down, bothersome facial wrinkles have the following names and locations. Notice that Botox is not the best choice for all types of wrinkles and lines.
So what are the types of wrinkles and lines on our faces? It can be classified as:
Forehead lines: horizontal lines, often called worry lines. These lines form mainly because the underlying frontalis muscle, which stretches across the forehead, moves when you make facial expressions. When you lift your brow--sometimes referred to as the "aha" or surprised look--the muscle contracts, which causes the skin that is covering the muscle to pull, wrinkle, and then return to its original position when you relax the muscle. Now consider the countless number of times you've used these muscles. As you age, your skin begins to lose its elasticity, it suffers from sun damage, and the constant contracting and relaxing of the muscle results in forehead lines. These can be eliminated using Botox or filler injections such as collagen or fat.
Frown lines: vertical lines, also known as glabellar lines, that appear between the eyebrows. These linescan make you appear serious, angry, or stressed even when you're not. It is for the removal of these lines that the Food and Drug Administration gave approval for Botox in April 2002. These lines are best removed with Botox. If you've frowned a lot over the years and the lines are very deeply etched, you may also need wrinkle fillers (e.g., collagen, fat) to eliminate these lines. Your doctor will discuss your options with you.
Crow's-feet: lines that radiate from the outside corners of the eyes. They're also known as periorbital lines. If you have these lines, they're most likely the result of smiling and squinting. If you look in the mirror ands mile or squint, notice how your muscles contract and cause your eyelids to nearly cover your eyes and how the muscles contract at the corners of your eyes where the lines appear. Crow's-feet are best eliminated with Botox, plus adjunctive treatment such as collagen, chemical peels, or laser resurfacing.
Laugh lines: also known as smile lines or nasolabial lines, they are the two vertical lines that run from the outside corners of the nose down to the top of the outside of the upper lip. Even though they are called laugh lines, gravity and aging are also factors in their development. They can best be eliminated using wrinkle fillers (e.g., collagen, fat, AlloDerm, Cymetra, Gore-Tex, or SoftForm).
Lipstick or smoker's lines: the tiny radiating lines that appear above the upper lip and below the lower one. It seems as though everyone has a different name for these annoying wrinkles, which are best removed using laser resurfacing, chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or wrinkle fillers--tissue augmentation (e.g., collagen injections, AlloDerm, fat)--in addition to Botox.
Marionette lines: the often deep lines that run down from the outside corners of the mouth toward the chin. These lines develop from a combination of factors, including gravity (the cheeks tend to sag from the force of gravity) and thinning of the supporting tissue that comes with age. These wrinkles are best eliminated using wrinkle fillers or laser resurfacing. Another option is a face-lift, a complex surgical procedure.
It should point out that Botox injections work best on crow's-feet (wrinkles radiating from the outside corners of the eyes), worry lines (horizontal forehead lines), and frown lines (vertical lines, also called glabellar lines, that appear between the eyebrows). These are wrinkles that are typically caused by chronic contractions of the muscles under or adjacent to these areas of the face. Laughing, smiling, frowning, and squinting are some of the common facial expressions that can cause these lines. If you have lines and wrinkles on other parts of your face that concern you, you may need other types of cosmetic procedures to eliminate them. With that in mind, consider these questions:
You should ask yourself, which wrinkles and lines bother you the most? Is it suitable for Botox treatment? Your cosmetic doctors will be able to advise you.
If you choose to eliminate only the wrinkles that can be treated with Botox, will any of the remaining ones still leave you unsatisfied with your appearance?
If you'll still be bothered by the remaining lines and wrinkles, are you willing to have other cosmetic procedures done to correct them? Naturally, you will need to discuss all your options and prices with your doctor, but you should be aware that other procedures may be needed for you to get the look you desire. You also should know that while Botox injections don't involve any recovery time, some other cosmetic procedures do.

Why Do I need To Have A Pap Test?
A pap test can save your life. It can find the earliest signs of cervical cancer - a common cancer in women. If caught early, the chance of curing cervical cancer is very high. Pap tests also can find infections and abnormal cervical cells that can turn into cancer cells. Treatment can prevent most cases of cervical cancer from developing.
Getting regular Pap tests is the best thing you can do to prevent cervical cancer. About 13,000 women in America will find out they have cervical cancer this year. And in 2004, 3,500 women died from cervical cancer in the United States.
Do all women need Pap tests? It is important for all women to have pap tests, along with pelvic exams, as part of their routine health care. You need a Pap test if you are:
21 years or older
under 21 years old and have been sexually active for three years or more There is no age limit for the Pap test. Even women who have gone through menopause (when a woman's periods stop) need regular Pap tests.
How often do I need to get a Pap test? It depends on your age and health history. Talk with your doctor about what is best for you. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends the following:
If you are younger than 30 years old, you should get a Pap test every year.
If you are age 30 or older and have had three normal Pap tests for three years in a row, talk to your doctor about spacing out Pap tests to every two or three years.
If you are ages 65 to 70 and have had at least three normal Pap tests and no abnormal Pap tests in the last 10 years, ask your doctor if you can stop having Pap tests.
You should have a Pap test every year no matter how old you are if:
You have a weakened immune system because of organ transplant, chemotherapy or steroid use
Your mother was exposed to diethylstilbestrol (DES) while pregnant
You are HIV-positive Women who are living with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, are at a higher risk of cervical cancer and other cervical diseases. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all HIV positive women get an initial Pap test, and get re-tested 6 months later. If both Pap tests are normal, then these women can get yearly Pap tests in the future.
Who does not need regular Pap tests? The only women who do not need regular Pap tests are:
Women over age 65 who have had a number of normal Pap tests and have been told by their doctors that they don't need to be tested anymore.
Women who do not have a cervix and are at low risk for cervical cancer. These women should speak to their doctor before stopping regular Pap tests.
I had a hysterectomy. Do I still need Pap tests? It depends on the type of hysterectomy (surgery to remove the uterus) you had and your health history. Women who have had a hysterectomy should talk with their doctor about whether they need routine Pap tests.
Usually during a hysterectomy, the cervix is removed with the uterus. This is called a total hysterectomy. Women who have had a total hysterectomy for reasons other than cancer may not need regular Pap tests. See http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pap-tests-older-women. Women who have had a total hysterectomy because of abnormal cells or cancer should be tested yearly for vaginal cancer until they have three normal test results. Women who have had only their uterus removed but still have a cervix need regular Pap tests. Even women who have had hysterectomies should see their doctors yearly for pelvic exams.
How can I reduce my chances of getting cervical cancer? Aside from getting Pap tests, the best way to avoid cervical cancer is by steering clear of the human papilloma virus (HPV). HPV is a major cause of cervical cancer. HPV infection is also one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases (STD). So, a woman boosts her chances of getting cervical cancer if she:
Starts having sex before age 18
Has many sex partners
Has sex partners who have other sex partners
Has or has had a sexually transmitted disease (STD)
What should I know about human papilloma viruses (HPV)? Human papilloma viruses are a group of more than 100 different viruses.
About 40 types of HPV are spread during sex.
Some types of HPVs can cause cervical cancer when not treated.
HPV infection is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases.
About 75 percent of sexually active people will get HPV sometime in their life.
Most women with untreated HPV do NOT get cervical cancer.
Some HPVs cause genital warts but these HPVs do not cause cervical cancer.
Since HPV rarely causes symptoms, most people don't know they have the infection.
How would I know if I had human papilloma virus (HPV)? Most women never know they have HPV. It usually stays hidden and doesn't cause symptoms like warts. When HPV doesn't go away on its own, it can cause changes in the cells of the cervix. Pap tests usually find these changes.
How do I prepare for a Pap test? Many things can cause wrong test results by washing away or hiding abnormal cells of the cervix. So, doctors suggest that for two days before the test you avoid:
Douching
Using tampons
Using vaginal creams, suppositories, and medicines
Using vaginal deodorant sprays or powders
Having sex
Should I get a Pap test when I have my period? No. Doctors suggest you schedule a Pap test when you do not have your period. The best time to be tested is 10 to 20 days after the first day of your last period.
How is a Pap test done? Your doctor can do a Pap test during a pelvic exam. It is a simple and quick test. While you lie on an exam table, the doctor puts an instrument called a speculum into your vagina, opening it to see the cervix. She will then use a special stick or brush to take a few cells from inside and around the cervix. The cells are placed on a glass slide and sent to a lab for examination. While usually painless, a Pap test is uncomfortable for some women.
When will I get the results of my Pap test? Usually it takes three weeks to get Pap test results. Most of the time, test results are normal. If the test shows that something might be wrong, your doctor will contact you to schedule more tests. There are many reasons for abnormal Pap test results. It usually does NOT mean you have cancer.
What do abnormal Pap test results mean? It is scary to hear that your Pap test results are "abnormal." But abnormal Pap test results usually do NOT mean you have cancer. Most often there is a small problem with the cervix.
Some abnormal cells will turn into cancer. But most of the time, these unhealthy cells will go away on their own. By treating these unhealthy cells, almost all cases of cervical cancer can be prevented. If you have abnormal results, to talk with your doctor about what they mean.
My Pap test was "abnormal," what happens now? There are many reasons for "abnormal" Pap test results. If results of the Pap test are unclear or show a small change in the cells of the cervix, your doctor will probably repeat the Pap test.
If the test finds more serious changes in the cells of the cervix, the doctor will suggest more powerful tests. Results of these tests will help your doctor decide on the best treatment. These include:
Colposcopy: The doctor uses a tool called a colposcope to see the cells of the vagina and cervix in detail.
Endocervical curettage: The doctor takes a sample of cells from the endocervical canal with a small spoon-shaped tool called a curette.
Biopsy: The doctor removes a small sample of cervical tissue. The sample is sent to a lab to be studied under a microscope. My Pap test result was a "false positive." What does this mean? Pap tests are not always 100 percent correct. False positive and false negative results can happen. This can be upsetting and confusing. A false positive Pap test is when a woman is told she has abnormal cervical cells, but the cells are really normal. If your doctor says your Pap results were a false positive, there is no problem. A false negative Pap test is when a woman is told her cells are normal, but in fact, there is a problem with the cervical cells that was missed. False negatives delay the discovery and treatment of unhealthy cells of the cervix. But, having regular Pap tests boosts your chances of finding any problems. If abnormal cells are missed at one time, they will probably be found on your next Pap test. I don't have health insurance, how can I get a free or low-cost Pap test? Programs funded by the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) offer free or low-cost Pap tests to women in need. These and other programs are available throughout the United States. To find contact information for a program near you, visit the NBCCEDP website at http://www.cdc.gov/cancer/nbccedp/or call 1-888-842-6355 (select option 7). Also, your state or local health department can direct you to places that offer free or low-cost Pap tests. Planned Parenthood offers low-cost Pap tests as well. To find the Planned Parenthood office in your area, call 1-800-230-7526 or visit their website at: http://www.ppfa.orgA message from Womenshealth.gov - The Federal Government Source For Women's Health Information, A Division of the US Department of Health & Human Servicess RELATED ARTICLES:

2:48 PM,
Went on my Honeymoon to Bora Bora (8 days)in 2001. Also Vacationed in Bora Bora and Moorea in 1986. I'll give Bora Bora a 10+ , but only if you want a romantic, no hassle, quiet Honeymoon. We went SCUBA diving-shark feeding and swam within 20 feet of GIANT Manta Rays who glided by above us, 1/2 day catamaran excursion. BB is completely surrouned by coral reef so inside the lagoon is like being in a giant aquarium. If you don't dive take a snorkle trip to swim with the tropical fish (we did that too). Spend a day walking around the island. I brought 2 inflatible rafts bought at home at sportign goods store before leaving. SMART idea. The food in French Polenesia is supervised by the french food police :-), so all food everywhere was good. Food at our hotel, Le Meridien, was Outstanding! Best deal was room with food plan (B'fast & Dinner). Believe it or not the Buffet dinner had AYCE Lobster and Rack of lamb. Ate at buffet 5 nights our of 7. Oh yeah, bring a very special bottle of Champagne to share by the Lagoon after dinner under the full moon. You'll be glad you did. Tahitians do not accept tips. They feel it is an insult. I had to be very persistant to get a worker to accept a gift from my wife and myself.

1-2-1 Personalized Nutrition Program
This program will provide you with both the necessary tools and personal attention required to successfully lose weight, and keep it off, without having to diet or count calories! Unlike the countless number of fad diets and the “miracle” weight loss pills that have more of an effect on your bank account than your waistline, you will be given the tools to achieve and maintain your optimal weight for the rest of your life. How much value would you place on knowing that you would never have to invest in another weight loss product, pill, plan, or pre-packaged meal again?
We place a tremendous amount of value on this concept. In fact, it is our goal to teach you how to BE IN CONTROL of your weight so that you will never have to diet again.
In order to achieve this goal, your personal nutrition consultant will learn about your specific dietary needs by asking you to complete an in-depth diet assessment packet that contains the following categories:
· Metabolic Profile Test
· Diabetes/ Blood Sugar Stabilization
· Heart Health/ Cardiovascular System
· Immune System
· Hormonal Balance (Mood)
· Hormonal Balance (Women)
· Hormonal Balance (Men)
· Digestive System/Colon
· Toxicity
· Vitamin/Mineral Deficiency
· EFA Deficiency
After reviewing your submitted personal diet assessment packet, your nutrition consultant will call you to schedule your one-on-one, 1½-hour, phone consultation. Without leaving the comfort of your own home, you will receive nutritional coaching and be able to receive answers to your questions live.
In addition to a step-by-step instruction of how to eat the foods you want and still lose the weight, your consultant will help you to keep the weight off by covering these three key topics during your consultation:
1. How to Read Labels-Ingredients
2. How to Eat for your specific body type
3. How to Properly Combine Foods for optimal digestion
Other main topics covered in your 1½-hour training session will include:
· The secret to losing weight and body fat
· How to fortify your immune system
· How to detoxify your body
· Key categories of foods that cause disease
· How to prevent diabetes and high cholesterol
· Where your nutritional deficiencies are and what supplements you could benefit from taking
We understand that change is difficult, so until September 30,2006…in addition to the analysis of your diet assessment packet, your personalized nutrition plan, and the 1½-hour training session, you will also receive 90-days of unlimited contact with your personal consultant to ask him/her any question you need to help you TAKE CONTROL of YOUR HEALTH.

I'm Dating This Guy Who is in the Process of Divorce
by Susan Dunn, MA, CEQC, Relationship Coach
I get letters. As a Relationship Coach, and the "How to Attract the Man of Your Dreams" expert on a major website, I get letters. "I've been seeing a guy for a year who's in the process of a divorce," writes Anne (not her real name). She goes on to recount a familiar story. He dates her, then goes back to his wife. He comes back to her, then sees another woman. Anne has fallen in love with this man, says she knows he loves her, and can't figure out what's going on. My client Beth calls me for relationship coaching and tells me the latest with her "legally separated" man. "He's so sweet and loving," she says. "We have a wonderful time together, but then he completely over-reacts to something and there's this totally off-the-wall outburst and I just know it has to do with his wife. Soon-to-be-ex-wife. I sure hope he goes through with this. Then he goes away for a while. He won't answer my phone calls. I think he might be sleeping with other women. Then he calls again and wants me to come over. This is all so confusing. I know he loves me. ..."
What's happening here is many a good, loving and otherwise clear-thinking woman gets involved with a man who's separated, "legally separated," divorcing, or newly divorced, and enters a maelstrom. The best way to describe it is "when it is good, it's very very good, and when it is bad, it is horrid."
It can't be understood, because it's every bit as confusing as it feels! And then you want to fix that for him!
If you're in this position, first let me say that I'm sorry, especially if you have lost your heart to this man. Men in this transitional stage can be at their most loveable, because of their temporary vulnerability, but they ought to have warning signs on their backs: CAUTION: Danger. Stay away.
Why is this? And why do we get so fooled?
There is something alluring about a man coming out of a marriage. The feelings you have are real, and his responses to you can be wonderful, but here's the deal. Men suffer terribly when their marriage breaks up and cannot tolerate being alone with their awful feelings - betrayal, failure, grief, longing, guilt, and most of all, being alone. And when men hurt, they don't sit and hurt, they take action to make it go away. Emotions are problems to be solved. Men are primed to do this. It's one of the things we love about men, but in this case, you want to stay clear.
Missing one woman, they will go and find another one, and they aren't always particular about it. It isn't exactly thought-through.
This is no reflection on you. It has happened to many a woman before you. Relationship coaching is all about avoiding this.
We women, you know, we eat ice cream, cry, listen to music, talk to our friends or our coaches about the painful feelings, and write in our journals. We usually don't rush into another affair because we know we aren't ready and don't have anything to give. Women are, according to emotional intelligence assessments, more "socially responsible."
The man, good as he may be, much as you may truly love him, is not ready. He is not emotionally available, although you are getting "emotion" and that's what's so confusing. The emotions, though, are all about him and his pain. And here's the hardest part - sex is the best antidote in the world for pain. It releases all those endorphins.
In addition, to a man, sex available is sex available; the emotions don't necessarily go along with it, as they tend to with women. So you fall in love, you bond, and he doesn't. For now, well, maybe, well that's scary because he just got hurt so bad, but she's so nice and nice to me, and I hate to be all alone, and she's willing ... she's the one who started all this ... you see how it goes.
Emotional intelligence assessments also show that men are lower in "empathy." Combine this with lower social responsibility and you have someone who is going to assuage their loneliness and, yes, horniness, on you, without really understanding or caring about how you might be feeling. Driven by pain, they don't really care.
That's what's going on. Because men take action, they need to know what they are doing before they act, or it's a real mess.
One dynamic I see as a Relationship Coach is that the more an ambivalent man likes the woman, the more he runs. So, you see, it's a "can't win" situation that continually raises and frustrates your hopes. In fact, a common scenario is that eventually you explode, and he says you are too demanding or have a bad temper, and takes his exit.
Why this dynamic? He got hurt real bad. When he starts to feel love again, he remembers the pain right along with it. For right now, the two are hooked together: love=pain. Everyone who divorces goes through this, and I doubt that he is intentionally trying to hurt you. He's pretty much focused on himself right now and not thinking too clearly, because that's what emotional turmoil does - cloud our thinking. We learn this in emotional intelligence.
You're clear about yourself and your feelings, but you get sucked into the chaos. You get so many mixed messages and signals - "come here, no go away; you, no her, no HER." The man is not necessarily conscious of this, so when you ask for clarification you either get nonsense, or he gets mad at you for asking, or about something irrelevant, to make the irritation of not-knowing go away.
When will he be ready? What should you do if you've given your heart already? Working with a Relationship Coach can help you get through this maze, and avoid them in the future. There are rules about dating after divorce - things that work, and things that don't work, and certain signs to watch for.
"But," you say, "Fred and Thelma started dating when he was married and they're..." As a Relationship Coach, I see the end results as well, and the odds against this lasting are very, very small. I'm not saying I like this scenario any more than you do, but the divorce rate for second marriages is even higher than the divorce rate for first marriages; and worse yet for thirds. I don't like the odds, do you?
Get some Relationship Coaching and give yourself the best chance possible. Find out how to catch a man at the "right" time, and what you must do, and what you must not do. You don't want to become a statistic!

As a man who has been through a divorce, I can attest to the validity of every last bit of advice given here. I was in no shape to make any type of commitment for at least two years after the divorce. If you are looking for a relationship, or are the type of woman who naturally feels the pain of others, then do yourself a favor and so not get involved with a man who is getting a divorce or just got one. The chances of it working are just way too low.

White Chocolate Mint Martini
With the holidays just around the corner, if you're looking for a unique sophisticated drink that can compliment a meal as well as be the life of the party; then visit HerbalCocktails.com. This is where the amateur mixologist to the professional bartender can learn how to make some of the hottest drinks in America.
This evolution of cocktails may have been inspired by the popularity of the Mojito, but there are more than Mojitos in this modern cocktail culture. Many of the contemporary drinks you are probably used to; like the Martini, Cosmo, and Margarita now have new twist that include herbal infused spirits such as mint, rosemary, and thyme.
Here's a fantastic cocktail recipe for White Chocolate Mint Martini:
2 leaves fresh mint 1/2 ounce vodka 1 1/2 ounces Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur 1/2 ounce Kahlua 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
Mix together 1 mint leaf and vodka, white chocolate liqueur and Kahlua over ice in a shaker. Shake well. Swirl chocolate syrup in the inside of the martini glass, strain in mixture and garnish with a mint leaf. Be creative and add a chocolate signature on top. Check out HerbalCocktails.com monthly herbal cocktail recipes and feel free to send in your own for review and posting. If you would like to experiment with your own mixes; find out what characteristics different herbs have in our herbal glossary section, and don't forget to tell them about your creations! How can we discount eyeglasses so much? 39 Dollar Glasses.com was developed by eye doctors to create an inexpensive method for people to acquire high quality, finished prescription eyeglasses online. From their experience in both private offices and retail establishments, the founders decided they could provide this service for people inexpensively, bypassing expensive retail establishments.
We use the same high quality materials, but can offer them at a high discount because of our high volume, since we don't have the additional overhead constraints (such as retail rent space, behind-the-counter employees, and expensive displays) that your doctor's office or optical must overcome. Since operating this website is much less expensive than a typical retail establishment, we are able to pass these savings on to the general public online.
Can I get discount prescription sunglasses? Yes, you can get any of our frames made into discount prescription sunglasses? As a matter of fact our frames can be ordered online as prescription (or non-prescription) sunglasses. Better yet we can make bifocal sunglasses also. To see what any of our frames look like online with different sunglass tint colors, click the SmartFit Color Selector logo on any frame page and you can customize them yourself. Click Here for Prescription Sunglasses
What type of lenses do you use in your eye glasses? We use top quality Polycarbonate (thin & ultra-light) Lenses. All of our $39.00 complete pair packages are made using polycarbonate lenses; the lightest, most impact-resistant material made. With an index of refraction of 1.59, they are much thinner than standard (CR39) optical lenses. They also come with both 100% UV and tough scratch-resistant coatings applied to both sides of the lenses, as well as polished lens edges, at no extra charge.
Polycarbonate is the required material for all children's eyeglasses because of its safety qualities - it's the material used to make bulletproof glass. For this reason, it's also the eye doctors' lens of choice for those with a blind eye or amblyopia (commonly called a "lazy eye"), where one eye's best-corrected vision is worse than the other eye. It ensures the good eye is always protected in case of an accident.
We also carry an extensive list of other lenses for our eyeglass frames. Click here for full prescription lenses selection
Anti-Reflective Coating Our premium anti-reflective coating is ideal for computer use and night driving. They work by increasing the light transmission through the lenses, providing you with the clearest, sharpest vision at all times. Any great-looking pair of eye glasses will look even better: people will see your eyes through the lenses, not the light reflection! For this reason, we automatically include anti-reflective coatings with any of our rimless eyeglass packages. Though this premium coating retails for $70.00 , you can add them to any other package for only $24.95 .
100% Online Quality Guarantee Prior to shipping, each pair of eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses are inspected by a certified technician to ensure the accuracy of the prescription and proper alignment of the frame. Further, they are packaged in an attractive, durable hard case for protection. We unconditionally guarantee all our frames and lenses to be delivered exactly as they were ordered and free of defects.

Stretch Marks - Causes and Treatment Options
copyright Rob Roy McKenzie 2006 All Rights Reserved
Stretch Marks, known in the medical community as erythrocyanosis are a form of scarring that can occur when a person's skin is overstretched. The Two Main Stretch Mark Causes Are: 1) Pregnancy 2) Obesity Appearance:
Stretch Marks have the initial appearance of purple or red looking lines. In time Stretch Marks can fade to a white or off white color.
Stretch Marks are a VERY common condition. Just think of all the people who are either pregnant or overweight!
Stretch Marks are not just confined to the female population either - few people realize that they are a common complaint of male body builders.
Three Possible Stretch Mark Solutions
Stretch Mark Treatments vary from out-and-out scams to some very smart and scientific remedies.
Three of the most common are:
1. DERMABRASION. This is a serious medical procedure that takes place under a general anesthetic. Dermabrasion is definitely not for the faint of heart.
In Dermabrasion the surface of the skin is literally removed by a process of sanding. The aim of dermabrasion is to remove (or at least lessen) the appearance of scars, damage from the sun or dark spots.
The procedure is obviously very painful (hence the general anesthetic) and the healing process can take several months. However, the results can be quite spectacular.
Dermabrasion works best when the scar or mark being treated is above the surface of the skin and is generally much less effective when used to treat sunken scars.
Be Warned: Having a general anesthetic is NOT something to be taken lightly; it carries inherent risks and can be life-threatening. Always seek a second medical opinion (speak to more than one doctor).
2. MICRODERMABRASION. Often referred to as 'Microderm' this is far less invasive procedure that has become very popular throughout the Day Spa and cosmetic industries.
In Microdermabrasion the surface layer of the skin is removed by using a special wand with a roughened surface that lightly sands the skin. The shed skin particles are removed via a suction device attached to the wand.
People like Microdermabrasion because it has a reputation of being a safe, painless procedure that does not require an anesthetic.
3. SKIN TREATMENT CREAMS. This is one of those areas where you are most likely to encounter 'wild claims' and the general 'rule of thumb' here is that if something sounds too good to be true - it probably is.
That said, there are literally tens of thousands of people who swear by such things as Vitamin A Cream, Cocoa Butter and a whole raft of different specially formulated cosmetic creams.
One thing you can do is ask the people trying to sell you any Stretch Mark Removal treatment to show you before and after photographs of their last 50 clients.
Also, ask for written testimonials.
Skin care experts also say that the correct diet, nutritional supplements, rest and common sense (avoiding excessive sun exposure) can have a big impact on the skin's ability to heal and its general appearance.
